ANALISIS CHATTER DAN KEKASARAN PERMUKAAN STAINLESS STEEL 304 BERDASARKAN SINYAL AKSELEROMETER DENGAN VARIASI TOOLPATH CNC MILLING

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi pengaruh strategi lintasan pemakanan (toolpath) terhadap kuantitas getaran (chatter) dan kekasaran permukaan (Ra) pada proses CNC pocket milling material Stainless Steel 304. Pengujian dilakukan secara eksperimental terkontrol menggunakan pahat End Mill Normal Helix Angle (NHA) 300 dengan membandingkan dua strategi lintasan utama: One Way dan Zig-Zag. Parameter pemesinan yang divariasikan meliputi kecepatan spindel (2000, 2250, 2500, dan 2750 RPM) serta kedalaman potong (0.4 hingga 2.0 mm) pada feed rate konstan 80mm/menit. Pengukuran sinyal getaran dilakukan secara real-time menggunakan sensor akselerometer yang diintegrasikan dengan Arduino Uno dan LabVIEW 2015 SP. Lokasi titik sampel pengujian kekasaran permukaan ditentukan secara presisi melalui metode sinkronisasi waktu lonjakan (spike) getaran tertinggi pada grafik Acceleration-Time Domain dengan koordinat 3D pada software Mastercam 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi One Way secara konsisten menghasilkan Chatter Free Area yang lebih luas dibandingkan strategi Zig-Zag. Pada kondisi optimal (2500 RPM), lintasan One Way meminimalkan lonjakan akselerasi akibat gaya pemotongan (cutting force) yang lebih stabil, sehingga menghasilkan kualitas permukaan yang lebih halus. Sebaliknya, fenomena chatter terparah bagi kedua strategi terdeteksi pada 2750 RPM dengan kedalaman potong 1.6 mm.
