Jalan Bandulan VIA is a local road that also functions as an alternative route to Jalan Bandulan VIII. Following road resurfacing, motor vehicles, particularly motorcycles, tended to travel at higher speeds, while residents, including children and elderly people, carried out activities around the roadway. This condition encouraged residents to propose the installation of speed bumps. This community service activity aimed to provide technical guidance and assistance in procuring and installing speed bumps at an agreed location. The implementation method consisted of an initial meeting and problem identification, coordination and permission, technical guidance, road condition survey and site selection, material procurement, installation assistance, and evaluation using a questionnaire. The material used was rubber speed bumps measuring 1.00×0.35×0.05 m, with 12 units provided along with supporting components. The evaluation results indicating that the activity was perceived as helpful, improved knowledge and skills, and supported community independence in installing speed-control facilities.
