Author Guidelines

Please prepare your manuscript using the official journal template provided by ABDIWANGI Journal.

Authors are required to copy their manuscript content into the template, which can be downloaded from the following link:

The template contains the required formatting styles and guidelines to ensure consistency throughout the manuscript preparation process.

Please save your manuscript in Microsoft Word format (*.doc or *.docx). Authors are advised not to submit manuscripts in PDF format, as editable files are required to facilitate the review process, proofreading, and editorial preparation.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must comply with the following requirements:

  • The submitted manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal. If the manuscript has been submitted elsewhere, authors must provide an explanation in the Comments to the Editor section.
  • The submission file must be prepared in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document format.
  • Authors should provide URLs or DOIs for references whenever they are available.
  • The manuscript is formatted using single spacing, 12-point font size, and italics instead of underlining (except for URLs). All illustrations, figures, and tables must be placed appropriately within the manuscript text rather than being submitted separately at the end of the document.
  • The manuscript follows the stylistic, formatting, and bibliographic requirements specified in the Author Guidelines.

The copyright of all articles published in the Banyuwangi Journal of Community Service and Empowerment (ABDIWANGI Journal) is retained by the Author(s).

  1. The Author(s) retain copyright and all publishing rights to their published articles.
  2. The Author(s) retain all rights to their work, including but not limited to the rights granted under this copyright and licensing policy.
  3. The Author(s) acknowledge that ABDIWANGI Journal is the first publisher of the article and that the article is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
  4. The Author(s) are permitted to distribute, reproduce, or deposit the published article in other forms or media on a non-exclusive basis, such as depositing it in an institutional repository, publishing it as part of a book, or other forms of dissemination, provided that the Author(s) acknowledge ABDIWANGI Journal as the first place of publication.
  5. The Author(s) guarantee that the submitted manuscript is an original work written by the listed authors, has not been previously published, does not contain any unlawful content, does not violate the rights of others, and does not infringe upon any third-party copyrights.
  6. For manuscripts written by multiple authors, the submitting author confirms that they have obtained approval from all co-authors regarding the copyright and licensing agreement and agrees to communicate the terms of this policy to all co-authors.
