Peer Review Process

The peer review process is an essential component in maintaining the quality, integrity, and scientific standards of journal publications. Through a rigorous review process, ABDIWANGI Journal ensures that every published article meets academic quality standards, demonstrates scientific relevance, and contributes to the advancement of knowledge and community empowerment.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening process by the Editorial Board to evaluate their suitability with the journal's focus and scope, completeness of submission requirements, and compliance with the journal's writing guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial evaluation will proceed to the review stage by two qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area of the manuscript.

ABDIWANGI Journal applies a Single-Blind Peer Review process, where the reviewers' identities are concealed from the authors throughout the review process. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on their scientific content, methodology, presentation quality, originality, and compliance with academic publication standards.

The review decision may result in: (1) accepted without revision, (2) accepted with minor revisions, (3) accepted with major revisions, or (4) rejected. The review results and editorial decisions will be communicated to authors through the official journal email. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewer comments within the specified timeframe.

The entire review and publication decision process generally takes approximately 8 weeks, depending on the review process, author revisions, and editorial decisions.

To maintain academic integrity and prevent plagiarism, all manuscripts accepted for publication will undergo similarity checking using Turnitin. The maximum allowable similarity index is 25%.
