We express our gratitude to God Almighty for the publication of the first issue of Volume 1 Number 1 of the Banyuwangi Journal of Community Service and Empowerment (ABDIWANGI Journal), an academic platform that presents the results of community service and empowerment activities from various disciplines. This publication represents our commitment to supporting the active role of the academic community in community empowerment and the implementation of scientific knowledge.
In this edition, we present a variety of articles that reflect the collaborative spirit between higher education institutions, communities, and local governments. The topics discussed include vocational education, public health, appropriate technology, creative economy, and the digitalization of public services. We believe that community service is not merely an academic obligation, but also a moral responsibility to contribute to sustainable community development.
